"Together with you, I define counterpoints that broaden the perspective. This makes it easier to shape change processes in a positive way."

Paul Fortmeier

My entire working life has been characterized by two guiding principles: an enjoyment of accompanying change processes and a passion for revealing contradictions in professional contexts as potentials and support others in tapping into these potentials. As a graduate theologian, I have never stopped learning, but have developed my knowledge as a consultant step by step over almost 30 years.

I like the interface between the individual and the organization. This is where two worlds meet. Even if the company and an executive seem to fit together perfectly, they often clash in their daily work, especially when faced with changes. As a consultant, I point out contradictions, new perspectives and development possibilities and work with you on achieving the goal of bringing the individual and the organization back into a productive relationship. I also develop teams at management level and qualify managers through coaching, training and workshops.

I believe in the positive power of change. Those who take a close look and uncover hidden contradictions can tap into the full potential. My clientele has included companies in the automotive, mining, chemicals, energy, healthcare, retail, aviation, paper, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications sectors as well as many small and medium-sized companies from various fields and a variety of organizations with social or educational tasks including church organizations.

After 14 years of independent work as a coach and supervisor (DGSv), teaching supervisor, trainer for group dynamics (DGGO) and organizational consultant, I wanted to make a new change. Since January 2015, I have been managing director of the German Society for Supervision and Coaching (DGSv) based in Cologne, the leading German professional association for supervision and coaching with the most demanding acceptance criteria.
